16 & 17 September 2011
The 2011 HMB Golf Day was held on Friday, 16 and Saturday, 17 September. The main event was on the Saturday, but for those who could not attend on the Saturday, we had a small field playing on the Friday. We enjoyed another superb couple of days as we celebrated the fourteenth golf day at St Cathryn’s in bright sunshine.
Some of our Grade 9 learners acted as caddies for the golfers who wished to have caddies on the day. Any tips they earned went towards their 2012 Germany Exchange Programme.

Looking back, the 2010 HMB Golf Day was as rewarding as ever. The field filled up for both the Friday and the Saturday, and the players enjoyed pleasant rounds of golf (4BBBS) on the quiet country course. The sun was out and the wind never rose above a gentle breeze. The awards ceremony on the Saturday afternoon was followed by pig-on-a-spit for supper. A BIG THANK YOU goes to all the sponsors and players, as well as all the willing helpers who made the day such a success.
